Goal Attainment Scale
Data-based decision making is the foundation of an effective IEP. We selected goal attainment scaling (GAS) so that we can measure and compare the effects of the consultation between groups of children who teachers received the consultation and those whose teachers did not. Read the article that explains the rationale behind GAS. Chapter 8 also provides more details on how to create a GAS form. Example GAS forms are provided for each case study.
